Lynne Cockrum-Murphy, Ed.D., L.I.S.A.C., is an intuitive consultant specializing in supporting her clients to achieve freedom from limiting beliefs, to change work and life conditions to a happier state, and to embrace an expanding sense of self and possibility. She uses ThetaHealing, Access Bars ®, channeling and counseling skills to support clients in all their personal goals.
As an Arizona licensed substance abuse counselor Lynne has worked for a treatment agency as well as with private clients. She is an Access Bars® instructor, and an advanced level certified ThetaHealer® and course instructor; teaching the Basic, Advanced, Manifesting and Abundance ThetaHealing Classes. She continues to teach and maintains a private practice focusing on ThetaHealing and Access Bars in Phoenix, Arizona where she lives.
She has followed a spiritual life, studying and practicing Buddhist, Christian and Metaphysical/New Age teachings since the age of 17. Lynne has been a teacher of mindfulness practices since 1978 and provides support to those seeking a spiritual life of purpose and meaning, teaching classes and providing intuitive guidance and healing throughout the western United States.
Lynne has a background in education and counseling. She received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, her Masters in Special Education from the University of Oregon and her Doctorate in Education Administration from Arizona State University. She is author of Stronger at the Broken Places: Growing Up in Chaos and the Journey from Suffering to Self-Actualization. Over three decades Lynne has taught special education in all grades from elementary to high school. She also teaches as an adjunct professor for Northern Arizona University in the bachelors and masters programs.
Lynne is a hiker, kayaker, world traveler and environmentalist with a high level of involvement in her local Sierra Club chapter.
